Cat keeps attacking leg

We have a 15 month old cat who seems to get a bit excited when playing or just when he is generally running around and hé jumps up / scratches our leg or arm.
He has 2 scratch posts, plenty of toys and I don’t think he means to cause harm but not sure how to stop him playfully attacking us?!

They get overstimulated you have to recognise the signs and dtop playing with him before he gets like that. Our cat sort of zones out and his ears start going back. We know to back off before he gets like that. You can google it.

Our female hides under the sofa and (as my DD calls it) the Mittens of Doom shoot out to catch any unsuspecting foot/ankle .

I think she's aiming for her brother .
I also think she doesn't mind who the target is Grin

We had this and so I bought a prosthetic leg from a junk shop which I tried using in front of me when I walked about the house, but Biffo saw through this and contemptuously used it as his scratching post whilst it was not being employed as a decoy. Grin

Is there scratch post 3ft + tall? They need a tall one ime.

Moving legs are much more fun though.

My nan's cat would wait for her on the stairs and attack but only if she wore new tights!
