Food recommendations

I'm looking to get some different food for my cat. Something with a good amount of protein.

Im on a bit of a budget, so I know I'm going to have to try and find the middle ground. So something that costs £1 a small tin and they need 4 tins daily is out of my range.
Budget around a £1-£1.50 a day, though if there is anything cheaper, all the better.

What gives the most bang for your buck?

I've been looking at Feringa and miamow, any other recommendations?

Though Butchers Classic seems to have a high meat content for a reasonable price. Does anyone have any personal experience of that? Though mine is still a kitten, so will have to wait a while before he can have that.

We're in a similar situation.

Currently we're giving a pouch of Blink cat food and also a pouch, pouch and a half of Felix AGAIL along side a small portion of dried biscuits over the course of the day.

This seems to be working so far and I feel better for knowing they're having at least some 'good food' every day.

I haven't found a middle ground between good protein content and cost as of yet. Hence using two brands.

I'd say it's costing us on average £1-30 a day per cat.

Are you looking at dry as well as wet?

Yes, I would look at dry as well. I like to have biscuits on offer through the day.

I supplement felix and biscuits with chopped cooked chicken. One chicken thigh easily gives enough meat for 2 meals. She only has it once a day. My old cat would eat sardines but this one won't.

I give encore dry and thrive dry. I got thrive from zooplus last time and Encore was from amazon
