Help me with food measurement please

Two outdoor cats, ones only eats wet food and the other only eats dry. I've found a grain free high meat content dry food which they both love which makes life easier.

It's quite expensive and for a 6kg cat it says 60g a day. I've been measuring out 30g each twice a day which they devour in less than a minute but it doesn't seem very much?
They'd eat more if given to them but they go crazy for this food like it's a bowl of dreamies treats so not a good indication of hunger.
I don't want to over feed them, is 60g really enough or should I give more?

Dry food tends to be very calorie dense - 100g of dry would on average equate to 3 or 4 pouches of wet food - so it does look like they are getting not very much!

The only way you can really tell if they need more or less than the feeding guide is to keep a close eye on their weight, and increase or decrease as needed. Obviously more active cats will need more than lazy ones! Smile

Thanks @Whatsissname
I'll stick with the recommended amount for a few weeks and see if their weight changes...now I have to try and weigh them, should be fun Grin
