Neighbourhood cat

We have a 1 year old cat who hasn’t adventured further than the garden, apart from a few times she’s escaped and then hides under our car terrified.

She likes to sit on the patio looking under the gate, and every day and Ginger Tom comes along and tries attacking her from underneath. He makes so much noise and aggression. She literally just lays there.

He poos in our front garden. We’ve tried most things to stop it but this morning there was a dead and very mummified rat on the grass. I feel sick (massive phobia of rats and mice 🙈🙈).

What does this mean? Is he trying to scare us away 😂

The pooing is territorial marking.

The dead rat may be a 'gift'!

I don't think it is trying to scare you away but maybe your cat.

Poor Demelza :( how do we stop him the little bugger lol. A few times Iv caught him standing on the fence teasing her 😂

Has your cat been neutered?
He may be just biding his time. Hmm

Water pistol or imitation .. My ndn had a water filled Fairy bottle. If dcat even went on her wall she lifted the bottle and he scarpered!! Only takes a few soakings!!
