Kitten spam - pics attached and names needed!

We're getting a kitten next weekend. Me and the DC cannot wait and we are so excited (DP not so much). We already have 2 cats so we are sending some things they lie on to the lady and vice versa. I haven't had a kitten in over 12 years. All my other cats have been rehomed when they were over 1. Just thought you'd like to see her!

And any names? Shes currently named Evie. But I arent sure. I was thinking Saffie short for Saffron with her being ginger?

I meant I got my cats when they were 1 not that I rehomed them sorry. It didn't read clearly!

Awwh how old? I have an oscar too but he is all black.. I arent sure he will be too happy with our new addition

He was 10 weeks in that photo... he's mum and dad's kitten. Since then he's grown a bit, pounced on their feet, drawn blood and taught them to wear thick socks and long sleeves, climbed the curtains and got stuck between the pole and the wall, pulled the blinds down, climbed into the washing machine while we were emptying it and into the oven while mum was taking the shelves out to clean them... He also likes to climb on the work tops and gets away with things his 2 predecessors would never have dreamed of, he's very bright, knows exactly when to curl up on a lap and purr and has even trained people to turn the tap on so that he can have a drink. Mum has completely cat proofed the house and checks everything, constantly to keep him safe, hopefully when he's grown a bit he won't fit in so many gaps... Hopefully he'll always be as funny!

Cheddar is the best name for a ginger kitten.

@Tlollj I know it is isnt it! I've only ever seen tortie girls or sometimes ginger and white. But there isnt much white on her at all!

My youngest DC has said she should be called fluff fluff 🙈 brilliant naming skills...

@Mysa I have forgotten what I am letting myself in for haven't I 🙈 I can remember my kitten terrorising my older cat years ago. But you always forget the worst of it!

You'll love (almost) every minute, dad had always wanted a grey kitten and we found him at just the right moment, dad was really Ill and bed bound for a while, that kitten gave him hours of entertainment and something to live for. He knew when to play and when to snuggle down and purr. He's worth his weight in gold!

@lst I bet your older cat was slightly shocked when a new ball of hyperactive fluff arrived... Did they end up friends?

I actually really love Evie.

We also just got a kitten that DH really didn't want. Unfortunately nobody told our Betsy that DH didn't like cats and we now have regular snuggles as evidenced below and she also has her own special song that he made up for her....

Clementine...on account of her being ginger and it being a lovely name.

My son's girlfriend has just adopted a beautiful ginger kitten and she's called her, "Mango". I think that would be cute for your baby too.
