My kitten is four months old on the 6th and has been home four weeks. Was hoping others with kittens would like to share their photos of them growing up.
Here's Falkor he is a Norwegian forest cat.

He is amazing! I'm in love 😻

OohKittens · 03/08/2020 13:10

@ivfdreaming he is pretty fantastic, he doesn't miaow either just makes chirping and trilling noises, the breed are known for this Smile

This is Colin, we just got him today. He had woken twice and gone to find us in another room

He had a really loud purr

Can't see your photo @Oldraver how old is he?

Soubriquet · 03/08/2020 13:15

Oh he’s beautiful

My dh’s boss breeds NFC. He has 70 of them!

OohKittens · 03/08/2020 13:18

@Soubriquet wow 70! He is my first NFC I have two ragdolls also but I'm smitten with the breed, they are fantastic affectionate cats. Very difficult to find a decent registered breeder I had to go on a waitlist plus they have quite small litters compared to some breeds.

This is Leroy. He self IDs as a kitten.

Oldraver · 03/08/2020 13:22

Photo is showing on the APP but not pc yet

He is 8 weeks old

Soubriquet · 03/08/2020 13:29

Yeah he’s a big breeder

Has all the proper runs and everything.

Not sure if I would buy from him tbf.

I would rather go to a smaller breeder who would spend most of their time dedicated to their cats instead of one who has lots of cats and dots between them

OohKittens · 03/08/2020 13:34

@Soubriquet yes I agree the lady who I got my kitten from she doesn't have a huge amount of cats and she's very particular about where her cats go. She does it for want of improving the breed.

@Oldraver is he your first cat? My kitten is very particular about what toys he plays with, a certain silver crinkly ball and a floppy cat teddy (manhattan lanky cat) from my sons bed. He also gets very excited if he spots a cotton bud Confused

First picture is when we got him a few weeks ago and the second was taken last week
His name is Fluffy Boots - anyone familiar with Topsy and Tim will recognise the name. Blame my daughter!

Not sure how old he is or what breed.

He is lovely @TheFabledSnake I'm extremely grateful that my days of topsy and tim are over Grin, that mother made me feel like a crap parent haha.
He is a domestic shorthair (moggy). So many people don't realise that unless a cat comes with papers meaning it it registered with a governing body (eg gccf) that they are a moggy. Even if it looks like a ragdoll or persian etc it isn't recognized as one if it doesn't have the paperwork and registering it as one can make insurance void! It's nothing like with dogs when it comes to cat breeds.

Colin is cat number 6, my cat enslavement goes back fourth years though a few have overlapped and at one time had three

Oldraver · 03/08/2020 15:00

Forty years god damn it

ivfdreaming · 03/08/2020 15:08

@Oldraver

Ahhhh I have a weakness for ginger and white cats they are my favourites!!!

Although I'm considering a NFC now! 🤣

OohKittens · 03/08/2020 15:16

@Oldraver I have three at present. 8yr old ragdoll boy, 3yr old ragdoll girl and Falkor.

@ivfdreaming you should definitely consider one, always buy registered though it's extremely important as the parents are health tested. They are such a fascinating breed and when fully grown (4-5yrs) look magnificent.

@YesItsMeIDontCare I love the harness and lead you have, where did you get it? Leroy looks like a proper fluffy bum Grin

@Feralkidsatthecampsite who was more scared on that first meeting! It's so hard losing an animal.

Mine isn't so much of a baby any more, but here's my big mucky lump now vs a less mucky, less of a lump baby.

@Grumpyoldpersonwithcats (that is the cutest kitty photo I have seen in a long time) I have to whisper so my old boy doesn't get jealous!
