Currently no DC but I’m due in 13 days with our first. DCat lived in a house with children (3 & 5) when he was a kitten but tbh that was 3 years ago and I don’t think he’s ever seen/smelt a baby.
We’ve been getting into good habits with keeping him away from the baby’s things and have tried the playing baby noise at him (to much bemusement 
). I’m really keen that he doesn’t feel pushed out and DH has been instructed to keep up cat fussing by our vet! I’ve read Feliway can help them settle - I was just wondering if anyone used it when they had a new baby? Have bought some but wondering if we should preemptively plug it in now or wait and see how DCat reacts to new baby first? If anyone has any tips they’d be gratefully received!
