Tell me how your cats were before and after neutering??

Is it imperative I cut my kittens claws cause he will not let me what so ever ? Can the vets do it

Will he deffo need his injections if he's an indoor cat because quite frankly their expensive

My kitten has started crying at night when we leave him in the living room am I being cruel by leaving him? (Before anyone asks he goes crazy in the bedroom)

How do I teach him to use the scratching posts because he isn't and he's still scratching the furniture

Injections they cover three main diseases:
Cat flu easily passed on can be carried on clothes - even indoor cats should be done covers herpes and Calici virus.
Panleucopaenia ( horrid life threading diarrhoea virus similar to parvo in dogs) very infectious can be carried on clothes even indoor cats should be done.
Feline leukaemia - viral infections passed on in saliva. Cats at risk are those who go out and fight and cats in multi car households who mutually groom. Single indoor cat not at risk, with discussion with owner not necessarily vaccinate.
Claws you don't have to cut I have never cut my indoor cats claws she has a good scratching and my arms!
Crying at nights many cats are companionable and like company mine have always slept on the bed with me.

Don't cut his claws. It's cruel and unnecessary.

He's a kitten, bouncing off the walls at night is what they do.

Wear him out in the evening with play then let him sleep with you so he learns the sleep pattern of your household rather than leave him alone to cry because that's cruel too.

Agree that claw cutting is cruel.

I would try different shaped scratching posts, mine won't use the pole type ones but will use ones that are wave shaped or cardboard scratchers you put on the floor.

I am not cruel what so ever. My god I don't mean de clawing him. I mean trimming his claws a tiny tiny bit as I've heard you need too every 3 weeks so they don't get razor sharp

Is his scratching post higher than the furniture he’s scratching? They need to stretch to do this. It’ll help keep his paws trimmed. Being outside will also keep his paws trimmed. Any reason he’s not allowed outside?

Why is claw cutting cruel? I do mine regularly as they get razor sharp as they are indoor cats. Even vets cut claws as they offered to do mine when they were under sedation.

How long have you had your kitten? I kept my baby in a kitten pen when necessary for the first couple of weeks. I now shut her in the livingroom when I cook because she tries to lie on my feet and it is not safe, she meows for a bit them settles down.

Please don't cut his claws, it can really injure them. Jackson Galaxy, who is a cat behaviour guy with a TV show, says it can cause them loads of problems using litter tray and walking. Your cat sounds maybe a bit stressed. Can you get him a scratching post? They sharpen their claws on that. How about a cat basket? Somewhere just for him to curl up and feel safe? Very gentle classical music can relax cats. Nothing loud, but soothing music, maybe soothing spa music?

Why is claw cutting cruel? Cheddar's are like needles and she likes to make biscuits on my bare skin. She's cooperative and sits still for it.

Claw cutting is not cruel. Leaving claws to grow til they curl round and start catching the cat's pads is cruel.

De-clawing is both cruel and illegal and NOT what the OP is talking about.

What scratch posts do you have? My cat will not use them but absolutely loves cardboard scratchers and big boxes.

They don't do that. Neither of mine have ever had their claws cut. They need them and sharpen them on trees both outside and on scratching trees inside. They fall out naturally and they perform their own grooming. I would never cut my cats' claws, they would find it distressing and it is not necessary

@BovaryX - all my indoor cats have had their claws trimmed for that very reason, I was taught how to do it correctly by a vet nurse and I had proper claw clippers. Done every couple of months. (And by indoor I mean elderly cats who can't be arsed to go out anymore.)

Maybe OP should have used the word "trim".

This has nothing to do with claw trimming but OP, mind your windows at all times! Kittens/cats are very keen to sit in window sills. They like being high on a perch. And they love an open window. Just be aware.

My cats are 9 and 6. They have never required claw clipping. I think that unless there is a medical reason to do so, it is unnecessary. It is certainly unnecessary for mine and to attempt it on a nervous kitten who is already stressed? Why?

Agree with pps cardboard apparently makes the bestest scratching post ever - especially if the owner (me) has decided the box in question could be useful for something else.
I’ve never clipped cat claws as a) never needed to even for my house cats b) I like my fingers attached to my hands.

I’ve always found that neutered kittens become more sociable, friendly and a little bit ‘clingy’.
If you want to put him in a cattery you will need vaccinations. Try vets 4 pets - I think they have a £99 for life for vaccinations plan.
Although my vet has just charged me £69 for all three vaccinations- but that’s just for one year not for life.
