Dropped the toddler girls at the cattery today. The girl who adores Snorg met them. Apparently Snorg jumped out of her box and immediately came for fuss with her tail quivering. She does that when she's really happy/ excited.
Do I ever get greeted like that? No chance! ConfusedEnvy

Oh LTC! 😱

I hate it when my dcats get all purry and tail quivery around other people, even when it's a kindly neighbour/friend coming to feed them Grin

Are you going 'anywhere nice' ? Shock

Toddlerteaplease · 23/07/2020 20:17

Wells, Cornwall, Winchester, Oxford.
Was supposed to be Lourdes in France but this'll be nice! Will miss my girls like mad. But they'll be having a great time with staff who love them.

Hope you have a great time Smile

My childhood cat used to come back from the cattery smelling of lavender and a belly full of salmon and chicken Shock The owners loved her so much they'd let her move into their house and fall asleep in front of the fire Shock

It is wonderful. You can enjoy your holiday without worrying about her. When you get over the antics of the little traitorous ingrate, that is.

Toddlerteaplease · 23/07/2020 21:17

The first time they went. The late Fatty spent 15 minute sitting on her knee having her chin tickled. 2 years it took me to get her to that point. 2 years and it took them 2 days!

Cats are brutal. Dhs family cat used to run to their ndn, never that fussed about them.

Toddlerteaplease · 23/07/2020 21:36

Cheddar isn't so fickle. She adores anyone that gives her any fuss.

Toddler, you have to put it into perspective. That 2 days was simply piggybacking on the efforts you had put in for 2 years. But for the fact you had put in the time and effort, she wouldn't be in a place where she could fully embrace the pleasures of being fawned over.

Doesn't make her any less of a hairy piglet. She could have had the manners at least to wait until she was out of your view.

'Hairy piglet' love it. It describes Cheddar perfectly!

Makes it all worthwhile doesn’t it?.

Toddlerteaplease · 02/08/2020 12:57

I didn't know Snorg had such a loud voice!
