Just one thing. I made the mistake many years ago of not keeping a better eye on my cats collar as she grew and not loosening it. She didn’t show signs of discomfort but I still feel bad that my kitty might have been in pain or uncomfortable and I didn’t realise.

@Summerfortheages she came with the collar but I’ve taken it off now, so no worries there but thanks

@GuppytheCat yeah I thought she’d hide (well she did for about 15 minutes under the couch once she’d come downstairs). But she’s so confident. She’s the sweetest little thing ever.

@Fluffycloudland77 she was doing better earlier, I think she’s a wee bit scared now, she’s on the window sill behind the curtain in the third bedroom which is now her room. I think she’s realised it’s not just a wee adventure but a much longer one. I’ve left her door ajar so if she wants to explore she can whilst it’s nice and quiet.

@EachandEveryone yes I have changed her name.

It’s a big upheaval for her and she’ll know you’ve got a dog in the house.

I saw the cats protection one too.

Well I’ve introduced them just a wee bit. Doggy on the lead so he can’t get too close. He’s slowly learning to ignore kitty. At first he was whining and watching her the whole time, now he’s chewing his chew toy on the floor with the occasional look. If he starts to pay attention I’m giving a short tug on the lead and a leave command and then praising him when he comes away. She is still staring at him but is looking away more often now. She was in the housey on the cat tree but now she’s near the top of the stairs surveying everything.

Fleur has now fallen asleep and yoshi (doggy) is relaxing on the couch.
