I'm getting a 3 month old kitten tomorrow.
Can anyone recommend any cat toys? Do scratch posts work?

Scratch posts can work if they’re big enough for the cat to stretch up to, too short or too flimsy is bad.

Ours like ball of feathers on string, laser pointer, catnip flavoured cuddly fish.

Rods with ribbons or mice, crinkly foil balls, yeowww catnip fish, pop up tunnel.
Good luck kitten looks beautiful, I've had my kitten home almost two weeks he is 15wks

Boy cat likes pink sparkly ball and no other toy.
Girl cat adores cat toys that have feathers if there are no feathers she is not interested.

Socks, hair bobbles, shoe laces, dd make up sponges - basically anything that is not a cat toy!

Does like her spinny ball pyramid thing and toy spring that she takes everywhere but socks are her favourite.

Petstages catnip chew mice. We have had generations of these over the last 10 years! Also hair bobbles, cardboard boxes and the ring of the lid off the milk carton.

Great love all simple cat toys using things round the house!

Drinking straws, they love a drinking straws. Toilet rolls make a good toy for kicking but it’s a devil to clean up.

All mine have tended to love fishing rod type toys. I don't to spend a lot on their toys & have various ones that they've taken to from home bargains, B&M, quidshop & tk maxx. They have a play tunnel, mouse on a spring loads of balls with bells & a 2 tier scratchpost from aldi. They've also adopted toys from previous cats.
