Ralph's whiskers...

We recently adopted our new kitten Ralph. He's adorable and settled in straight away (currently sleeping wrapped around my neck). The foster home had him and his 3 littermates from around 1 month old. Ralph was apparently being bullied by his brother(s?) and his whiskers have all been chewed off except one, poor boy!
I had never heard of this before... Will they take a long time to grow back?

My ragdoll came home at 13wks with no whiskers because the litter (of 9!) had all chewed each others off. They grew back and she now has the longest whiskers ever.

Isn't he sweet. Bet he was glad to get away from the bullies . I often find whiskers that mine have shed and they still have plenty left. They'll grow back to the size of the width of his body, like all cats. Love his name.

Ooh that's good news! I felt a bit sorry for him! Less so now that he has chewed through a pair of earphones and a toilet roll He's definitely happy to get away from his naughty brothers-we were told he was very calm at the fosterer's, he has totally come out of his shell 😻

A friend of mine had a 3 legged poodle called Ralph... I always thought that it was a super cute pet name! Here in France it's an 'R' year and he was called Robbie, but Ralph suits him soo much better!
