Cat being sick

Morning, been woken this morning by my girl being sick, she started off sounding like she had a dry mouth, then was sick - mostly food. I then came downstairs to find a large pile of vomit, again food. She has been sick a further two times, this time watery & with some grass. She is hiding but seems ok in herself, she's for plenty of fresh water down & I've removed her food for now.

Would you say a quick vet check over is needed as she's been sick 4 times? I dont want to over react but usually she's only sick once 😩

If it was one of mine, as it's been 4 times, I would take her just to be on the safe side. Hope she's ok

I think I would also get her checked over. She could get dehydrated pretty quickly if she keeps vomiting. Hope she is ok.

Thanks both, that was my instinct but I sometimes overreact with my baby! Shes been sick once more so is definitely going to the vets, we've an apt at 10:30. She doesn't look impressed ha!!

How did you get on at the vets this morning @Dancingfairydreams

Dancingfairydreams · 12/07/2020 12:36

She is fine thanks @Icequeen01, cost me some pennies but they said it was just a stomach bug , she had no temperature or signs of dehydration. A day inside & limited food & shes back to her normal foolish self!

So pleased to hear that @Dancingfairydreams and she certainly looks very well in your photo. She's beautiful! Is she a British Blue or a Russian Blue - she's such a lovely colour.

Aww thanks! Shes technically a moggy as was found straying but I reckon she's half Russian blue & have siamese, shes got a mostly blue coat but in the sun its shows tinges of brown.
