Cat flea treatment

Hi
Which flea treatments work best for your cat?
I've been getting Stronghold spot on from the vet but it's £50 for 3 treatments so looking for something a bit cheaper!

I've found Animed too so can order via this route
Thanks

Instead of changing the product, change your supplier?

I use Stronghold. Fleas are immune to the cheaper stuff and my previous cat was allergic to fleas so I stick with this brand for now.

I pay €27 for a 3 Pack from my vet.

Thank you - the price includes the prescription costs? Or do you pay the script costs on top of that?

you would pay a private prescription charge and then buy from elsewhere including online

I was hoping something non prescription was available ... that works! Wink

Advantage works.

dementedpixie · 11/07/2020 13:29

although you would still need a wormer too (stronghold plus covers most worms as well as fleas)

thecatneuterer · 11/07/2020 13:30

And Drontal for a wormer.

Thanks I'll take a look at those. Used Drontal before so that's fine
