Showing my age horribly here - but your post about Colin reminded me of a Barron Knights' parody (of David Bowie) 'Birth control to Ginger Tom'.
It contains (from memory) the lines
'Your miaow has got much higher since you've had it done' and
'I'm feeling kinda frail, and there's something gone from underneath my tail'.

Well Col charmed everyone, let all the staff fuss him and didn't bite anyone

He had been quite good and kept the cone on for an hour and half. DS phoned us distract while IH was picking me up from work.... the cats got his cone off

So..., Cols got a new toy

BTW my floor ain't that dirty, ''twas the fashion 20 years ago. I loved the floor then as I thought I wouldn't have to clean to often. Now it irritates me

Cols decided now is the time to attack the Christmas tree despite it being up two days and him ignoring it

Luckily it isn't decorated as it's lusting a bit and needs adjusting

It was 4.45pm and already dark so I went outside to call in Haribo. Normally he turns up within minutes but tonight nothing. I started to get panicked as it was this time of year my cat Barnaby died after being hit by a car near the house and back in May Haribo didn't come home for 3 nights because he was trapped in a shed. My partner came home at 5.20 "is Haribo in?" I was nearly in tears, then Hugo, Haribo's friend turned up for his drugs (catnip) and Haribo was right behind him and came in too. They'd obviously been out together and I can hear Hugo saying to Haribo "don't go in yet, we're doing cat stuff".

Does this count as a drug-fuelled incident? Never underestimate the power of a determined kitten, especially one who likes climbing. He probably thinks you've given him an early Christmas present of an indoor tree. Best game ever!

I'd like to know what drug sent him doo-lolly like that. I always thought Ketamine chilled you out 'ahem, so I'm told'

Xmas has come abit early for Daphne and Dolly. I highly recommend the pillows from Zooplus Mollys Mice don’t touch mine.

Col hasn't let up on the tree so it looks like it will be an undecorated listing tree.

He loves playing up there but I wouldn't want to leave him in his own with it, so had to bring his fave bed out the living room when I wax at work
