My boy has had his second chemo treatment this week. After the first one, 3 weeks ago, he was great, but this dose has really whacked him. Has anyone else experienced this

He had a scan yesterday, chemo had not been successful. I'm just giving him prednisolone and lots of love until the time comes to let him go 😔

Oh you poor thing, you tried. What an awful thing for all of you. How is he day to day?.

He's still eating well and likes to stroll round the garden. I'm gutted that I put him through to treatment and it didn't work 😭

You did the best you could and it was worth a go, it could have worked. Give him all the love for what he's got left. Sending you support

He’s a proper tuxedo cat isn’t he? If you hadn’t tried you’d beat yourself up for evermore wondering if you could save him & I think a vet would have strongly suggested pts sooner if there was no chance of it working.

Cancers an awful illness for every species.

Thank you. He's a lovely boy. I'm treating every day as a bonus ❤️
