Cat makes himself sick

Hi,

I know cats sometimes eat grass to make themselves sick... but my cat keeps seeking out a particular house plant and chewing on it.

He's always sick after.

I'm keeping him away from the plant. But was wondering if there is something wrong with a cat that keeps doing this? Do I need to get him checked out? Any experience?

Thanks

Lots of houseplants are toxic to cats. It probably tastes nice to him or fulfils his instincts to seek out emetics.

Does he go out?

I think cats are meant to eat some type of grass thats why indoors ones need you to have a certain indoor cat grass type plant (helpful!). That of itself doesnt make a cat vomit...

I have a packet of cat grass seeds in front of me right now!
They normally have grow your own packs in pet shops; it'll grow in a few weeks. I think it's meant to help with digestion; I do know is it stops my cat chewing my yucca leaves.
