Two new boy kittens - Ziggy and ???

I am super excited to be rehoming two 11 week old male rescue kittens next week. Both are short haired tabbies.

We are struggling as a family to agree on suitable names, although Ziggy seems to be a favourite. Any suggestions on what would go with it? I like Elvis but the kids aren't keen.

Other suggestions for paired names also welcome. Will post photos once we get them. Thanks.

My first thought was 'Stardust' but he could be a Spider (from Mars).

I'd probably give Ziggy the middle name of Stardust and then go for something completely different like Marmaduke Sunshine, Skimbleshanks or Bob.

But then I give cats titles and several names. One of the foster cats was, Countess Violet Elizabeth, guardian of the scarves.

I'd wait until you get them home and have an idea of their personalities before settling on their names. They might turn out to be a Hamish and Dougal instead!

Update: the kittens arrive tomorrow! Very excited. We think we are going to go with Ziggy and Zeus, unless we find anything we can agree on and like better in the next 24 hours 😃

We also have 2 male kittens coming (next month) and we decided weeks ago one would be called Ziggy!! Where did you find the name op? I’m our case my dad was talking about his old friend Ziggy nd I just lived the name.

They are settling in really well. I think we just found Ziggy from a random Google list. Ziggy is a gorgeous mischief, climbs up everything. Zeus is slightly more chilled but still very playful.
