What type of chemo did he have and what is the primary site of his lymphoma?

It's oral chemotherapy and he had a tumour removed from his bowel

My cat Simba is getting chemo for lymphoma. He reacts differently to the different chemicals he gets each time (4 cycles of 4 different ones) . There's a couple where there seems no difference and a couple where he's really wiped out for the first couple of days, really sleepy. His lymphoma was mainly on his spleen. He's doing really well though, he improved very quickly. I hope your boy picks up soon.

Sounds like he is having chlorambucil sleepy the next day is normal, but if it is small cell lymphoma cats have a really good prognosis with this cancer and drug combination living years. I have a patient who is alive having a tablet once every three weeks five years on.

My cat had chlorambucil for small bowel lymphoma. Every two weeks she went to the vet for them to check her blood and give her the tablet. The staff used to joke that I had my own chair. She was also on prednisolone alternate days that I gave her, although I would often find it stuck to a skirting board!

She lived for another five years before dying of old age. She was very ill by the time she started it, and in just a few weeks all her symptoms were gone and she was putting on weight.
I don’t recollect that she had any side effects.
