My black cat has secret stripes

Look! He has secret orangey stripes that only show up in the sunlight....
No idea what colour his parents were as he was abandoned outside a vets... Makes him even more special 😻

And I've commented on Basil's russet hues previously.

My first pair of black cats were both definitely black with secret stripes. I'm sure my current pair are a very deep chocolate brown. High cocoa dark chocolate!

Toddler well Boycat is long, lean, has a very long nose & a long thin tail, so he has the general shape more like a panther than a domestic cat. But he doesn't have the tabby stripes of his sister, so she's a tiger rather than a panther.
