Stray cat with cattitude

I'm not a cat slave yet. I really do want to have my own cat master, but in the meantime I try and make friends with any of the local neighbourhood cats 😁.

So I heard there is a stray hanging about in our communal garden. I spotted it the other evening and decided to pop down and say hello. I brought a can of tuna with me as a peace offering!

By the time I got down to the garden the cat was nowhere to be seen. So I sat down in a quiet area with my open tin of tuna infront of me, hoping stray cat would turn up and we could be friends.

Eventually stray cat turned up. It came right over to me and my tuna, with literally NO EYE CONTACT! Sniffed the tuna, and then somehow hooked the whole tin onto its right paw and sauntered off with it! I do believe I tried to stroke this little critter at one point, but it sort off shrugged it's body as if to say 'get off me!'. At no point did this cat give the tiniest shit about my presence. It was very entitled towards the tuna. It gave me nothing back in terms of acknowledgement or affection...........Yet I was so delighted and impressed with its ability to pick up and carry a whole tin of tuna with its paw 😁 Also while looking totally cool 😎
