Cyclosporine for cats

My cat has had itchy skin around her ears on and off for years. We’ve tried a low allergen diet, prednisolone which doesn’t seem to work now, and topical ointments. Her new vet has suggested cyclosporine. Has anyone had any success with this please?

Yes it's a very effective medication

Thank you. I didn’t ask the vet but is it something she would take forever or just during a flare up? It’s an immunosuppressant isn’t it.
