cats Mercury poisoning

My 5 month kitten has a tin of applaws kitten tuna a day, alongside 2 pouches of normal poultry based kitten food. I was just thinking I wouldn't eat a tin of tuna a day in case I got mercury poisoning, so why am I giving it to her! The tin says I can give her 1-2 tins a day and doesn't mention anything about mercury. Does anyone know anything about how it works for cats? She LOVES it so I feel bad cutting it out but will if there's a risk!

Where is the mercury you are worried about. In the tin or the tuna

I was worried because tuna has mercury in as i understand it

Yes. There is a lot of online info about fishy petfood and there are alternatives which have no mercury.
