My friends cats adore Mollies mice, but a neighbourhood cat came into their house and ran off down the street with one!

NO! not into your actual house???

Fluffycloudland77 · 06/05/2020 13:05

I wonder if he got it all the way home?. Maybe his owner buys rubbish ones from Poundland and he’s sick of them.

Vinorosso74 · 06/05/2020 14:56

Oh my literally a cat burglar!

Toddlerteaplease · 06/05/2020 14:59

Yes. He was actually in the house.

He’s a discerning mog, but still a thief. Perhaps she can get one extra in the future.

My cat did this once from sneaking into the neighbours house, came home with a toy mouse that wasn't ours. She also came home with a bloody rabbit harness that she'd nicked from their garden Blush had to return both red faced.

Weedsnseeds1 · 06/05/2020 15:11

A few years ago, mine kept coming home with those polystyrene craft balls, covered in red felt.
I eventually realised he was pulling them off next door's Christmas door wreath!

Oliversmumsarmy · 06/05/2020 15:13

Mine many years ago came home with a steak.

Rinsed it under the tap and served it to Dp for his tea.

Never told him where his dinner came from.

GoGadgetGo · 06/05/2020 15:32

With the title, i thought the cats had been stolen. Have to say, I'm a bit disapointed now as the post was a let down.

All my cat brings home is dead mice Mondays look more like a rat
My sister cat brought home little baby rabbits one day when we were kids, each one safe and alive. He was nicking them from the neighbours house. He would drop them at my Mums feet and run off, then come back with another, I think we had 4 or 5 when sister followed him to see where he got them so we could take them back.

Delbelleber · 06/05/2020 15:54

It could be worse... When I was a kid our cat went on to a neighbours house and killed their budgie

Toddlerteaplease · 06/05/2020 16:04

Betty & Zena are unimpressed at being victims of Crime.

Wow they look pissed off. Do you know which house he theif lives in? Maybe you should knock and ask about the stolen toy.

Toddlerteaplease · 06/05/2020 21:27

Ha ha their slave would never do that! I've ordered them some more.

OP posts:
AnneElliott · 06/05/2020 21:55

Was it a Siamese? My friends one loved sparkly shit as a kitten and would nick it from the kids a few doors away.

Vinorosso74 · 06/05/2020 22:05

They'll need name tags on them so the slave can return them if they are pinched again.

emmacat · 07/05/2020 00:53

Mine used to be the opposite, there was a particular mouse pets at home used to sell and in the summer shed sneak into the neighbours house leave them and run back. Shed then howl at me until I either located hers or produced another. I was puzzled where she kept losing them until bumping into neighbours and they handed me back a sandwich bag full. They had seen her one day run in pop it down and run back.

Shes now very old and cant make it over the fence so takes them out into the garden and insists we go and locate them.
