Cat behaviour

My boy has started spraying in random places all of a sudden. In another thread a few weeks ago i mentioned we have started feeding a stray cat, can he smell the scent around the door/ on me and is spraying to mark his territory? Or is it something else? He has started becoming aggressive towards my two 8 month old kittens and will spit and swipe at them all of the time, he also spends quite a lot of time jumping up at the door to get out (he does go out in the day but we don't have a cat flap or anything)

He is the most affectionate cat in the world, but his behaviour has really changed recently and i worry that when i have my baby he will get worse. Any ideas?!

I think its because of the stray cat. How long have you had the kittens. I would stop feeding the stray cat near the door, put in a catflap if you can, put feliway plugs in, he has a lot of changes to his home.

I thought it might be that! I've had the kittens since they were 5 weeks old so a while! Other than the stray cat there's no other major change. We need to get the feliway plug ins again, we had them before but i wasn't sure if they actually worked or not?

Everything @HappyHammy said; catflap, Feliway, stop feeding stray next to the door. Make sure there is enough food, litter trays and hidey places up high for him to have peace and quiet. Hopefully it will be a reaction to the stray and not the kittens. As the kittens grow and become adults, the dynamics can change a little bit.

The younger cats might be annoying him if they are very playful. Have they been neutered yet. He might just need to escape from all the other cats sometimes. You shouldnt smell of the stray which could really unsettle him.
