Yep mine here, ditto the dogs who have been running in and out for weeks, today I had to boot them out Grin

mineofuselessinformation · 28/04/2020 22:13

Cats are great sulkers - they'll get over it! Smile

cormorantes · 28/04/2020 22:15

yes! I had to take mine outside and play with him in the rain as he was being such an arse in the house. he's only young and I think couldn't remember a time before outside sunny days!

JorisBonson · 28/04/2020 22:16

The littlest one in particular is especially fed up that be can't roll around in dirt or bring flies into the house, so he's been doing this or sulking under the spare bed all day.

Yep, mine has been snoozing all day in the sun recently. Most disgruntled now and making sure we know about it..

TroysMammy · 28/04/2020 22:20

Yes. Haribo is 10 months old and has only been going out for the last 6 weeks and today he saw rain for the first time and he didn't like it. It didn't help that I saw him doing a loose yellow poo in my vegetable bed yesterday and I kept him in today so he could use his litter tray. He's ok now but I took him out on a harness and lead which he also didn't like so in all I've caused 3 lots of him having the hump today.

KatherineJaneway · 28/04/2020 22:22

One of mine but he also has a bad tummy so that might be it. He doesn't like the rain though.

MadCap · 28/04/2020 22:24

Mine was shouting at us all day like we could turn the rain off.

Deux · 28/04/2020 22:27

Mine have slept all day. They keep going out and coming back in and going to sleep

We’ve had 4 frogs though. Live ones.

JorisBonson · 28/04/2020 22:29

@Deux I'm bloody dreading the frogs. One of ours likes to bring them in and let them jump around, and I have a terrible phobia of them.

Last time it happened DP was away and I ended up asking someone from the neighbourhood watch group to come and get it 😂

It's turned a wee bit chilly here, but no rain, so mine are relatively happy and have been in and out during the day.

@wantobeme he looks just like Fatty standing there! Not Snorg as her tail is bent.

Want2beme · 29/04/2020 11:25

Toddlerteaplease, aah, she's a little bit different to Fatty from this end.

Ha ha, she's absolutely gorgeous though. My two are definitely sulking today. Cheddar has been for a cuddle. But I've not even seen Snorg. She's in her bed under my bed. I've just checked she's still breathing and she glared at me. Probably thinks I was going to pounce on her with eye drops!

LikeGlitterandGold · 29/04/2020 14:39

Ours are indoor only cats. I promised them in March that we'd open the windows in a month as it'd be warmer. IT'S STILL SNOWING or threatening to snow! I swear this has been the longest winter ever and now the cats are trying to hold me to my promise by pounding on the windows. The trouble is when I open the windows, the cold wind blasts through and the cats get upset at me and sulk or fight each other.

MrAlyhakinsMassiveYacht · 29/04/2020 14:47

We've had a decapitated mouse brought in because who can be bothered to eat a mouse out in the cold and wind and rain, and then one cat actually used the litter tray that's been untouched for months because god forfend they go outside into this blizzard.

Allthenumbers · 29/04/2020 14:47

Yes! Mine came up at 4am yesterday to miaow very loudly. Had food, had water. Went downstairs with her. I think she wanted to tell me it was raining. I think she thinks I can make it stop.

Lots of miaowing today! And jumping to impressive places in the house and then miaowing loudly!

I love my cat!

sweetkitty · 29/04/2020 15:02

My 3 are mostly indoor cats but are allowed out in the garden supervised. As it’s been so nice they’ve been out a lot with us chirping at pigeons and one even saw a mouse. Yesterday they all had the hump as the door was shut. DCat3 likes to go out for a last pee with the dog at night, he doesn’t actually pee he just goes out and comes back in, last night it was raining and he was not happy.

Not even starting on the dog who hates the rain, it’s like acid on her face.

Vinorosso74 · 29/04/2020 15:43

Ours has dealt with the grump of being stuck in yesterday by digging up and gifting us something filthy from a neighbouring garden. Not an animal but flexible plastic/foamy stuff with a fabric outer. Shortly after that he had a scrap with another cat and gained a wound which had to be cleaned up.

Toddlerteaplease · 29/04/2020 21:00

The house is cold but Cheddar is snug as a big!

Our cats an indoor cat as she only has one eye and there a predators around here. She entertains herself by launching herself at DS1 whenever he walks past even though he is her favourite. When he goes outside she sits in the window and watches him and meows for him to come back. Sometimes we take her in the garden on a lead.

@Want2beme this is nothing to do with cats, but what is that paint colour on your door, please. It is lovely!

Toddlerteaplease · 30/04/2020 16:13

Oo yes, it's gorgeous!

Maryann1975 · 30/04/2020 16:19

Yep, my cat is grumpy today too. She keeps wanting to go out, so I open the door and then have to shoo her out as she messes around (if I don’t shoo her out, she will come back to the door for another try within a few minutes). Without fail within 10 minutes she will be sat on the windowsill wanting to come back in and one of the dc will let her in as they feel sorry for her. And then It starts again. Crying at the back door to go out. When I’m in on my own, she knows I don’t stand for it and she has to stay out, but the other humans in the house seem to be quite soft with her!
