Cat heat pad recommendations

Hi hoping some one can give some recommendations for a heat pad. My 21 year old cat is now starting to feel the cold and while she currently enjoys a hot water bottle I would like something maybe a bit more comfortable for her.
I've had a look online the only trouble I'm having is I'd like one for her space on the sofa, can anyone reccomend one suitable for use on a leather sofa or should I just continue with the hot water bottle.

Thanks in advance

I'll see if I can find the ones I've got to link to tomorrow. In the meantime though I will say only buy from well known sites such as Fetch.com or anything else British. Don't buy off ebay or Amazon or anything from abroad. As they are electrical you need them to be safe, and many of the made in China ones don't comply with UK safety standards and some have caught fire.

Thanks for your reply that was my biggest concern especially on the sofa.. shes a very spoiled little cat and I think she believe sleeping on the floor is beneath her Haha

I bought this one for my friends’ cat after he got run over and had to stay in a cage for 6 weeks while his pelvis and leg healed:

It doesn’t get really hot because you just put in in the microwave but then it makes it very safe.

I've got a pet remedy one, after it was recommended to me. My cats used it quite a bit at first. But never stayed on that long. I think they found it too hot. It feels very hot underneath.

We have SnuggleSafe heat pads for our cats (I'm not in the UK but understand it's a UK brand). They're really good, you microwave them and they stay warm for a lot longer than a hot water bottle. They also don't start off quite as hot (I.e. they stay a more consistent temperature for longer) so they are safer. They come with a cover, I sometimes wrap them in a small blanket as well for comfort so perhaps you could do that if you're worried about it being on the sofa?

My soft DP bought Haribo a Pets at Home microwavable heat pad because he felt guilty about him having to sleep in the kitchen at night. At bedtime Haribo on hearing the microwave being put on rushes into the kitchen and tells my DP to hurry up as he wants to go to bed.

I can't find the plug in pads that I bought. I know they came from Zooplus, or Fetch, or Pet Supermarket or something similar, but they don't seem to be there anymore. Perhaps there will be a better selection as we go into Autumn.
