Is it friendly? Can you get it in the house?.

Fluffycloudland77 · 26/04/2020 06:03

If it’s stray why don’t you feed it.

Want2beme · 26/04/2020 09:08

Are you a cat owner and do you have a cat box? Call a vet for advice. If they suggest bringing it into them and if you can get close enough, throw a towel over it and put it in the cat carrier. Be very careful of the cat lashing out. You'll need all your strength because cats are very strong and you don't want to end up in a&e covered in scratches, waiting for a tetanus jab. It'll definitely need medical help, poor thing. Good luck.

You can print out paper collars to attach to them asking for owners to call to confirm he’s not a stray.

Itwasntme1 · 26/04/2020 21:01

Can you try local Facebook pages to see if anyone is missing him?

Does he seem hungry? If so can you feed him? I know if my cat was lost I would be very grateful if someone feed her and tried to find out if she had an owner somewhere.

Aussielady · 26/04/2020 21:35

Honestly only since lockdown I've noticed himh hanging around before this I saw him but never thought much about it until last night with the bone sticking out of his mouth. Ive feed him 3 times today and yes he seems Hungry I'll keep feeding him .I'm not an animal owner so don't know much anything about cats.Looking at the photo does he look like a stray.Ive posted him on Facebook but noI reply

Ok, keep us updated. People do abandon animals.

Itwasntme1 · 26/04/2020 22:24

It’s hard to tell if he is a stray from the photo.

Collars can be dangerous so lots of cat owners don’t use them. I have a cat and I know she visits my neighbours garden every day - and she sees it as part of her territory.

As around the neighbours, and do try popping a paper collar on him asking for an owner.

Ask around the neighbours

Does he seem hungry?

Cats always seem hungry! They have the starving act down to a fine art..

He looks healthy enough from the photo, and not thin, although a pic from above would be better....
