Cat peeing on washing line...

Not mine, my neighbour’s cat - little sod but very cute - likes to spray and mark territory in my garden. He’s just done it over my (nearly dry and freshly washed) duvet, which is now back in the wash.

Is there anything at all I can do to stop him without scaring my own cat? I rarely catch him in the act in time to get the water pistol out.

Hang the washing up higher? Get a Washing pole and push the washing line up in the middle?

Ah a pole is a good plan! It’s a long line so I’m hanging it at the higher end but apparently not beyond his range...!
