Inspired by a post on another thread, which actor would personify your cat in the biopic of their life?

Girlcat - Dame Maggie Smith in Downton Abbey mode.

Black and white Boycat 1 - Ian McShane, a bit dashing in his younger days but could play a thug too.

Grey BoyCat 2 - Rupert Everett, slightly camp, quite smart.

Tabby Boycat 3 - Ross Kemp, bit of a geezer but loves his mum.

Girl Cat - Kathy Burke

Lordy no idea - don't know of any actors thick enough to play Boycat! Girlcat would have to be someone with beauty, brains and steel.

Owlish · 19/04/2020 22:34

Johnny Vegas!

MrsMGE · 19/04/2020 22:38

One of mine would have to be Heath Ledger in Joker's mode 😂

TheLongRider · 19/04/2020 22:45

@Allergictoironing
Girlcat - Honor Blackman
Boycat - Harold Lloyd

Boycat is very handsome, so not really Harold Lloyd. He makes me think of the Californian beach guys, all good looks, muscles & no brains!

Allergictoironing · 19/04/2020 22:51

Going with the Bond Girl theme, maybe Diana Rigg for Girlcat? Will never forget her Medea, she was amazing in that.

Toilenstripes · 19/04/2020 22:54

Lord Grantham. He’s a gentleman, polite, loves gentle women.

puds11 · 19/04/2020 22:55

Mine is sadly no longer with me but 100% would be played by Alan Rickman.

TheLongRider · 19/04/2020 22:56

I thought about Diana Rigg for Girlcat. Avengers era though, catsuit and all.

Channing Tatum in Magic Mike? A young version of Brendan Fraser?

Boycat - Tom Cruise he's tiny and bit of a tit
Girlcat - Rosalind Knight (as Horrible Grandma in Friday night dinner).

delilabell · 19/04/2020 22:58

Girlcat Helena Bonham Carter. Completly manic and crazy.
Also when she plays with boy rabbit she's like her in Harry Potter.

Who would play your cat in their biopic?
WildCherryBlossom · 20/04/2020 02:19

Boycat Hugh Laurie as the Prince Regent in Blackadder. Regal and flamboyantly handsome but not terribly bright.

Girl cat: the girl who plants Maeve Whilley in Sex Education. Incredibly pretty, but spiky exterior. Sensitive and loving under the surface.

Toddlerteaplease · 20/04/2020 04:21

Snorg would be Lord Grantham. Lovely, kind and loyal but not the brightest.
Not sure about Cheddar!

sashh · 20/04/2020 04:41

The actress who played Moaning Myrtle in the Harry Potter films. Everyone thinks she is a kitten.

My sadly departed Charlie, some sort of diva, Charlie could sulk like no other cat, and he did it with his back to you so you knew about it.

MrsCatE · 20/04/2020 06:11

Anthony Hopkins - as Hannibal Lector.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 20/04/2020 08:46

I think TC would have to be played by Terry Thomas.

Sybil - Marilyn Monroe, due to the walk in 'Some Like it Hot'

Still considering the others

BovaryX · 20/04/2020 08:50

Characters, rather than actors.
Lord Fur One: Sebastian Flyte, Brideshead Revisited
Lord Brawl Two: Tony Montana, Scarface

RickOShay · 20/04/2020 09:20

Big sister Villanelle. So beautiful, loving, elegant, but also a cold blooded killer
Little sister Judy Dench as ‘M’ gentle exterior hiding a ruthless streak

millymaple · 20/04/2020 09:22

David Tennant would play ours.

Excellent thread by the way.

LightDrizzle · 20/04/2020 09:36

My last cat would have been played by Scarlett Johansson.

TheLongRider · 20/04/2020 09:58

@Toddlerteaplease - Cheddar could also be played by Judi Dench as Queen Elizabeth I. Commanding, imperious.

Or how about Helen Mirren?

OP posts:
Toddlerteaplease · 20/04/2020 11:12

Hmm, no that would be the late Fatty. She was a bossy diva.
Cheddar would be Mr Tumble. Friendly, enthusiastic and over the top!

Terralee · 20/04/2020 11:15

My cat would be played by Margot Robbie - young and fun

BuzzShitbagBobbly · 20/04/2020 11:21

For the one next to me right at this moment, Bette Davis in her Baby Jane days....
