Not sure can you google it?

Want2beme · 19/04/2020 17:11

Is it your cat? Does the packaging specify that it's not harmful to animals? Sorry if that's an obvious question. Hopefully, a vet will come along soon to advise. Maybe just drinking a little bit once won't be harmful.

Fluffycloudland77 · 19/04/2020 18:14

Did you ring the vet? There will be a nurse on call 24/7.

JaceLancs · 19/04/2020 18:53

Cat seems ok but still worried no reply from my vet

Doesnt sound like it would be very safe for consumption. What does the packaging say?

GetawayfromthatWelshtart · 19/04/2020 19:18

What brand is it? A majority are pretty safe (otherwise it would kill off the fish and any wildlife living in the pond like frogs, water insects) but I've only ever heard of formaldehyde being used as a treatment for parasites/ illness of fish (usually Koi) rather than removal of algae

If you google the brand name it should tell you whether it is harmful to pond and wildlife (and therefore your cat!)

Also it may depend on whether you put in the correct dosage into the pond (it would be really watered down if done as per the instructions)

It’s called green away treatment same as I use in my tropical fish tank by interpret
