2 year old female becoming aggressive

I have a 2 year old female who is suddenly becoming aggressive towards my other 2 cats one of whom is her 6 month old son and another female. It’s happened all of a sudden she’s hissing and swiping at them both. Not sure what to do

Is she an outside cat? My cats are mostly indoor cats, and i find that when my boy cannot get out when he wants he starts howling, hissing and swiping at my poor girls. I'm not sure if those Feliway plug in's work but i used to have one and everything seemed ok.

Sometimes i like to split the cats up for a bit to give them a break from eachother!

Yeah both females go out the little boy just goes in the garden for now. I might try a feli way plug see if that calms her.

Would there be anything that could have stressed her out at all?

We had our mother in laws dog over here last week as she wasn’t well enough to look after him but he’s gone back now

Is she spayed? Unspayed females not breeding go a bit nutty but spaying cures it.

She could be in pain from an infection or injury if it started suddenly. Potentially an abscess or UTI.

No she’s not spayed we had her booked in but obviously it has been cancelled.
I picked her up myself and she was fine I had a good feel of everywhere and she didn’t cry or anything. I’m going to get my other half to take her to our vets and I’ll have to stay here with the kids.

I bet it’s the spaying issue then. She’s the age to be going nutty.

Yes but now she’s not breeding & they go nutty. It’s reversible though.

But if she’s still going out she could be pregnant no?

Why would you let an unneutered female out though?. There’s a huge problem in the uk with feral cats and pg strays.

Yes I know that like I said I had her booked in before all this started and I can’t keep her in it’s not fair

You need to separate them or deal with horribly inbred kittens and she should not be going out at all. You've had months to get her spayed since her litter weaned

I have a similar problem although the mum is spayed (and daughter)

Iv found its because she doesn’t understand why the child is still around and it’s territorial. We just ignore it now and they stay away from each other

@Veterinari thank you got your advice there’s really no need for your bad attitude though. I know I should have got her spayed after she had her last litter. As soon as all this is over I’ll be booking her in.
