Like everyone else at the moment I can’t help but feel anxious. I just glanced down at Archie and Angus who were looking as though they didn’t have a care in the world and I suddenly feel calmer. I sooo love these two!

Aww lovely cats! They do make everything better don't they. One of my Dcats is a house cat so feel like we're getting a taste of her daily life at the moment, ho hum!

They are beautiful.
I have three and I don't know how I'd manage without them, I'm on my own for 12 weeks apart from them.

Such floofers! I agree, staying at home is vastly better with my two around. Nothing like cuddling a purring kitty to help feel calm.

We have 3 cats and it's lovely to be able to spend more time with them. 2 of them are very sociable and enjoying us being around (kittens) and our older lady is carrying on snoozing.

@Grumpyoldpersonwithcats - I am now looking at that photo in a completely different light. They do have a certain look about them now you mention it .......

Are these the pusscats who were looking at the catflap a few months ago

I'm not even a cat person but the fluff levels have met my approval.

I also enjoy the fact they look like you've walked in on them having a very important meeting. In fact I imagine that when you leave the room they will tut at each other like a couple of disapproving shoppers would at a queue jumper in Waitrose.

@TroysMammy Great memory - yes these are the two. They wouldn’t go out of the catflap because they were terrified of the neighbours teeny weeny cat whom we have now adopted. They tolerate her but if she gets too close they scatter like one of those cartoon cats with their legs splayed four ways 😀

@BackseatCookers I was never a cat person then this black void rampaged into my life (he's staring at my chicken soup!)
It's like having a cross between a small enthusiastic dog and an annoying toddler
I spent the first month wondering if I would keep him alive and if I would accidentally feed him wrong and not know what I was doing

@BackseatCookers - my cats would definitely shop in Waitrose. They think they are very posh as they are half pedigree. I haven’t had the heart to tell them they are the product of a one night stand by their mum with the local ginger Tom. Their mum was then kicked out for being such a wanton hussy who had to take shelter in the local cat rescue 😀

Oh @Icequeen01 I love them even more now 😂 I've had a few red wines and I'm missing my favourite girl, my best friend for ten years so I hope you can forgive me shamelessly adding a picture or two of my little bunny friend. She'd have loved your cats. The best pets know they are way too good for us!!

You are so so lucky! We were about to move into an owned house from our rental, and as its empty are hoping to go ahead government permitting. First thing would have been getting a rescue fur baby of our own

Oh @BackseatCookers what a gorgeous bunny! Almost like a little cat. I had no idea they lived so long! It’s awful when you lose a furry friend isn’t it. I always say no more when I lose one but always end up taking in another one (or two!).

@MusicTeacherSussex - I hope you manage to move but sadly I think you will have to wait a while for a rescue fur baby. I noticed today that our local rescue has had to close until further notice.
