What age to let out independently?

Hi,

Got a 6 mth old female kitten booked in for spaying & microchip tomorrow. Anticipating keeping her in afterwards for at a week afterwards at least .At the moment she does go out supervised but wants to be outside constantly. She has a lot of energy & screams the house down, throwing a paddy by banging the keys against the back door & jumping up & down on the door handle!!
How old were peoples young female cats when they were allowed outside unsupervised? I have had 2 females before but over 15 yrs since I've had kittens & tbh I cannot remember at what age I allowed this previously. My garden is not secure due to landlord of next door property not maintaining a secure fence. I live about 3 streets away from a main road.
Any thoughts on this appreciated

Yeah I would say 6months but my oldest boy now 10 was out at around 4 . He was a master escape artist and jumped out the windows, slide out behind people coming in and out the door. He can also open the front door and does the ringing the keys to get out. Funnily enough now he's older he spends most his time indoors lying on my bed. He's 10yrs now.

My females weren't out until speyed. My cat had a litter years ago and if I had known then what I know now I wouldn't have let it happen (was a naive teenager).
