Cat in bed

Any tips on how to stop stealth cat getting in the bed during the night?! My partner is scared of squashing her.

She has the obligatory 2 cats beds shes refuses to acknowledge, obviously! We tried a heated blanket in one but that was no joy.

I dont mind her sleeping in the bed, but its disrupting my partners sleep, and he needs his sleep!

Do we just buy a bigger bed?! Sounds more logical to me 🤦‍♀️😂

She won't get squashed, if she is uncomfortable you will kw about it #teethandclaws

Had the same problem with our dog.. DH couldn't sleep as the dog kept pushing him with his paws ...we got a super king size bed Grin dog now sleeps in middle fully stretched Grin
I would post obligatory dog pic but since this is the litter tray topic I don't know if it's a faux pas Shock or whatever the correct term would be

Apart from shutting cat in a different room there isn't a lot you can do because if you shut your door you will be disturbed by scratching and thumping on the door.

A bigger bed might help but I had a huge bed and still woke with a cat actually on top of me, and if I moved (very carefully) she would then curl up against me.

You can't win this one.

Dancingfairydreams · 18/03/2020 12:17

I've told him she wont get hurt, but I think hes still worried. Also shes the most stubborn cat, she will stand her ground, if we try to move her over a tad but rarely uses claws or teeth.

I quiet like it, I wake up cradling her like a baby some mornings 😂

I'm resultant to shut her out the bedroom....off to look at bigger beds it is in the knowledge she will just spread out more 😂😂😂

EdithHope · 18/03/2020 12:37

Your cat is gorgeous! She'll be fine get rid of the complaining partner Grin

WarriorsComeOutToPlayay · 18/03/2020 12:39

We have a superking bed and a smug cat

Purplecatshopaholic · 18/03/2020 12:49

Aw bless her, she’s gorgeous. She will still cuddle in regardless of the size of the bed. One of mine wraps himself round my head to sleep. She’ll be fine

Itwasntme1 · 18/03/2020 19:55

Mine gets in under the covers during the night, I must disturb her because I am often woken up by her jumping out of the bed😿

purrswhileheeats · 18/03/2020 20:19

She is one sexy lady, how can you not let her in your bed?! Shock That face! Grin

Dancingfairydreams · 18/03/2020 20:35

Ha @Itwasntme1 I love it when they get disgruntled with us! Mine does that too.

Lets be honest, I have no issue with it really, @EdithHope might have the best solution 😂😂

She'll soon move if she's getting squished!

My cat loves getting in under the covers, DH always trying to get her out, but cat always wins!
