So as the title says our cat Molly always sticks her claws in our legs whenever she climbs on our laps. In the past she's left some big scratches on my legs after she's fallen and tried to catch herself. She such a sweet cat and we've now got a five month old DS. She's been really good so far I just worry that as he gets older she might hurt him.
We got her when she was around five months old from my dads colleague, who got her from someone else but couldn't keep her as they already had seven cats. I'm not sure of her history and when I've looked in to the clawing I found it can be a result of leaving their mum too soon.
Does anyone have any advice on how I can teach her to not use her claws when on our laps?
