So I'd give you a back story first
He was found in a skip by my brother in law as a kitten weak and very thin, when he was taken to the vets he wasn't chipped and apart from needing fluids and food he was healthy so my brother in law brought him home and called rescue places etc but no one had space for him and he said he'd look after him until he found his forever home. My brother in law became attached to him but works overseas at months at a time but we were looking for a cat anyway so we have him now but my God I've never met a cat so friendly and chilled out who has settled so soon and good. ( I haven't met a man who wants to video chat with a cat like brother in law does) he hasn't got a name. Help

Big fan of human names for animals. My cat is called Brenda Grin How about Colin, Doug? But I think Skip, Skippy, Skipper may have to be the front runner in it's own right

I like human names for animals too. I have had rabbits Jessica and Jemima, cats Emma, Danny and Linda, a mouse Suki, and rats Daisy and Lily to name a few.
Not all at the same time BTW!

But the current cat, Danny, is generally called Cat or Pookie to his face.

He's lovely. Does Jellicle work for a boy?

In terms of human names, Stuart has popped into my head for some reason.

Toddlerteaplease · 02/03/2020 12:06

Colin or Boris! I have a cat with a food name which people love, so how about Katsu or ketchup. But don't take my advice, I wanted to call my cats Zomorph and Fentanyl.

I'm all for the 'skip' vibe for the cat, little unusual but has some meaning behind it! What a gorgeous cat 🥰

Whome91 · 02/03/2020 12:26

Hmmm just for an idea our last cat was called mr cat and mrs cat and before that fluffy duff so yeah 😂

He looks like a Bruce to me.

TroysMammy · 02/03/2020 13:07

Brisco. It's the name of a skip hire business in Swansea.
