My kitten has hurt her paw

Yesterday I noticed my kitten had a small limp in her right paw and it must of happened at night. I took her to the vet who checked her and saw her with her little limp and was not worried and gave her a pain injection. She is still limping today but has been moving about and play has been restricted. She has been eating and generally wants cuddles.
Has anyone else cat done this and how long does it take to heal ?

It's not unusual for cats to hurt their paws & legs. In my experience they do recover quickly. It's difficult to stop them from jumping around, isn't it.

What did the vet say about when/if you should return?

Hi I rang the emergency vet up as she was limping and whining in pain as her injection wore off she had yesterday. Vet gave me some meta cam for her and is much better for now
Vet said was soft tissue damage shes done as no sign of a break or anything. Tuesday I take her back to see the cet again
