I love my cat.

Just that, really. She is beautiful and silky and purry and funny and clever. She is full of character and can be very chatty. Not much of a lap-cat, unfortunately, but very happy to be stroked or brushed.

She knows her own mind and is very determined, but never bites or scratches when I have to take her to the vet or give her medicine (although she will complain loudly).

She's patient and doesn't make a lot of noise, apart from when defending her territory which she does excellently. She cheers me up and makes me laugh every day.

Sounds like a typical cat, enjoy her, I miss my cat, he wasn’t a lap cat either, but I loved him so much, from a kitten to 18 years.

Mine is not a lap cat but is nonetheless affectionate and quirky. We are moving house at the moment and cardboard boxes are very much her thing.
She’ll jump up and sit next to me and have a purring cuddly half hour before retiring to bed for 5 hours at 9am.
The dog and her get on very well and both are curled up in front of the fire together.
I love her but when I find her lapping my bedside glass of water at 3am, not so much.

Yes, when she puts her paw on my arm, or rests her head on my leg (if sitting by my feet). That's adorable.

She sleeps on my bed most nights, except for in the summer when she prefers to go out on the rampage.

Also, she adores having her head massaged. I'm happy to oblige!

Me too. His champagne coloured paws, stripy face, spotty tummy, his little miaows and chirrups as he jumps onto the bed with us at night, his yowls in the morning when he wants his breakfast.
He’s the loveliest animal, shame he’s so bloody smug and can be quite sour when he wants to!

Snorg/ magic is gorgeous, affectionate, and placid. Has recently become a lot more cuddly. And Is also becoming more vocal and bossy. After being dominated by her late sister, she's absolutely blossoming as queen bee.

Cheddar is loud, very affectionate. Loves to be picked up and cuddled. She thinks she's a parrot. Very placid. Very gentle. But her pops are horrific and she doesn't bury them.

The late Fatty/Maia was bossy and an absolute diva. She completely ruled the roost. But also gentle and affectionate.
