Elderly cat weeing too much

Dcat is 19 and in remarkably good shape for her age. However, since Christmas, she’s been drinking a lot and her wees have been enormous, flooding the cat tray (she often misses) and very dilute. She’s been back and forth to the vet but so far we haven’t got any answers. Her first urine test showed traces of blood so she was given antibiotics for a probable low-grade UTI. They didn’t make any difference so she went back for blood tests to check for diabetes and kidney disease. Her bloods came back completely normal - no sign of kidney disease or diabetes, liver function normal, no raised white blood count, she’s not anaemic, her heart and lung function are fine. She doesn’t appear to be in any pain or discomfort and is behaving as usual - she’s very cheerful and affectionate. Has anyone experienced anything similar?

Yes, but it was diabetes. What about thyroid issues?
