Kitten keeps throwing up

Does anyone else have a kitten or cat which throws up a couple of times a week?
Socks is about nine months now and a few times over the last two or three weeks Ive heard her retching in the night and then found a lovely pile of what looks like partly digested cat food or dry biscuits.
She’s quite a slow eater so I don’t think it’s gobbling her food too fast. I wouldn’t say she’s overeating either. She is putting on a bit of weight, which she needed to as she was quite thin, but she’s still quite skinny.
Thing is she doesn’t really like kitten food so tends to eat food for adult cats which maybe she finds hard to digest? Also she doesn’t go out yet so doesn’t get the chance to nibble grass.
When she was neutered the vet thought she had a slight hernia so I’m wondering if this might be a factor.

As long as the cat food says complete it's ok. Mine will literally only eat Tesco complete tinned food. Won't touch the sachets. I do find spending the extra money on a slightly more expensive dry food helps. One of my cats (we have 4) will throw up if the dry food isn't right for her. We go on zooplus and buy a big bag it's more expensive in one go but cheaper in the long run. We are currently using Smilia adult for our cats and they love it. £20 for a 10kg bag

My cats particularly the 2 boy kittens (13 months now) were sick and often had diarrhoea on Go Cat. They have sainsburys own brand (green bag) biscuits now and have been absolutely fine. I changed foods a few times with them and this allegra to be the best for them

Our cat is sick if he eats too much dry food. He's 13 now and has always been like that. If we feed mostly pouches he's rarely sick unless he's eaten something he shouldn't when out and about.

I haven’t fed Go Cat or any dry food apart from a few treats for a couple of days and there’s been no sick. Too early to say but I’ll give it a few days and see if it does the trick.
I will take her to the vet of course if it continues but she’s so nervous it’s a huge ordeal for her.

My cat is 5 and she throws up all the time, at least 2 times a week. The vet says she just has a sensitive stomach so she eats biscuits specifically for sensitive stomach and skin. This has reduced the vomiting although she still does vomit. Wet food is the worst, she loves it but will be sick immediately after eating it, no matter what kind.

No more throwing up, I’m pleased to report. I’ve stopped the dry food at night and cut out the GoCat completely.

That’s good, I wish they’d ban cereals in cat food.

My cat throw up constantly on whiskers. Changed to Lily’s kitchen and it stopped completely
