My cat started to rake amoxicillin last night and will have to take it for 4 weeks. She is now hardly eating at all. She won’t touch her cat food and had maybe a tablespoon of steamed chicken. Even tuna was ignored.
It seems to be a common side effect but before I go to the vet again maybe someone here has experienced this in his or her cat and knows a trick to get a cat to eat again? I am also wondering whether this only occurs during the early days of a treatment with amoxicillin or whether this lasts during the entire course of treatment.
