Annual Booster injection making cat unwell?

Yesterday Snorecat had his annual boosters and the vet mentioned to keep in him incase he became unwell. I have never heard of this before, and SnoreCat seemed his normal self. It’s his first injections we’ve had, as we haven’t had him a year yet.

Anyway today he is looking tired, and his eyes aren’t as bright as usual. He has had calcivirus in the past, when he was rescued by the CP.

Should I keep him in today and fret? Or am I being an overprotective cat slave?

Previous cat never seemed unwell after his injections.

My 2 cats had boosters this week. I wasnt told to keep them in but one of them slept for hours afterwards. The vet said it was a different brand and that can have a slightly different effect than usual

Ours had this after his first boosters, he bounced back after 72 hours but I did worry.

Thank you, I am worried. Yesterday he was eating and running around like normal. Maybe it’s got into his system today.

I’d keep him in and fret.

Kept him in yesterday, but he was bouncing off the walls, so I let him out.
Today he’s been in, but his eyes look brighter now so I’ve let him out. It’s sunny and he has cat things to do.

Mine have been a bit off after theirs a couple of times.

I haven’t ever noticed this in other cats. Previous cat was fairly lazy so long periods of sleeping were normal. He’s going in and out through the cat flap now. Seems happy now, his eyes certainly look bright and wide.

I wondered if it was because he’d had calcivirus last year.
