Freda nearly made it to the top of the wardrobe. Shes really tiny so this surprised me but it won't be long until she makes it.

Squigean · 22/01/2020 08:35

No picture sadly but I have once or twice found my soppy ginger on top of the fridge-freezer.

There seems no rhyme or reason to why he goes high. When I'm home he likes to sneak up to my room and stretch out on the bed, now and again I'll find him on top if the wardrobe instead.

I often think cat psychology would be an impossible field!

Fluffycloudland77 · 22/01/2020 09:05

He used the copper pipes as a ladder & hauled his 6.8kg self up all by himself.

He never did it again so maybe it just had to be checked out for the record and not regularly inspected.

The third is dhs sock drawer.

Mine are Persians so don't climb. The highest I've seen Cheddar was on the sideboard, next to the TV. The kitchen tops are safe! That spec savers advert with the Persian chinchilla really annoys be. Because Persians can't jump like that!

My old boy used to love the top of the kitchen units Shock

Lidocat’s favourite place is shoulders, but a door makes a good vantage point.

Many moons ago I had a cat that would climb up to the ceiling in our lounge using the flock wallpaper (She was a Burmese so could climb anything).

Fluffycloudland77 · 02/02/2020 15:32

Our ndn told dh he used to see our departed cat on the roof in the mornings. Dh told him to keep it between them or I’d never let him out again.
