My god. Where has my lovely kitten gone? She’s horrible At the min 😂

Attacking us constantly, can’t sit on the sofa without her pouncing to bite us. Someone swap her for a tiny kitten again... please? 😂😂

Neutering soon though?.

Heyjude20 · 11/01/2020 20:36

Monday!! Can’t come quick enough 😂

Heyjude20 · 11/01/2020 20:37

Will that calm her down?

Fluffycloudland77 · 11/01/2020 20:42

A little bit, ask if they post op pain relief. One of the vets on here says research they are in pain but carry on running around and hide it well Sad

She’s just honing her hunting skills on you until she can get her paws on a fledgling in the spring.

Fluffycloudland77 · 11/01/2020 20:45

My male Bengal was the same though, all I saw most evenings was a head slowly coming up from under the sofa, ears back, eyes so dilated there was hardly any green iris left before he jumped up to practice hunting on my left arm.

Heyjude20 · 11/01/2020 21:08

That’s exactly how she is! Her eyes scare me 😂😂

We call Harry Feral Errol when he's in that mood. He's nearly 15 but doesn't seem to have grown out of it!

TroysMammy · 12/01/2020 09:45

Haribo must be a wuss. He does gentle pouncings, no claws and his teeth gently touch skin but has never drawn blood.

His favourite game is peek a boo. I'm sitting on the toilet, he's in the bath and we are bobbing our heads up and down Grin

YesItsMeIDontCare · 12/01/2020 09:52

Leroy is about 5 now and still stalks us. 6kg+ of furious fur trying to kill your arm is not fun. I put a padded coat on and let him go nuts. You could try that? A laser pen is a good one for knackering them out too.

Lordfrontpaw · 12/01/2020 09:53

Can we have a pic please? I love it when a thread goes kitty-shot!

We sorted this problem be getting another kitten 🐱😁 now they just hunt and attack each other. 🤣

Tinty · 12/01/2020 19:22

They are 3 years old now and have happily chase each other and fight (they never draw blood, although one will sometimes swear at the other if they are biting too hard), and they cuddle up together when they sleep. They were from the sane litter, we just got them a month apart when we decided kitten needed a friend.

Lordfrontpaw · 12/01/2020 19:33

Oh those ears! Pure attack cat mode...

Fluffycloudland77 · 12/01/2020 20:28

Never mind the ears look at the size of those paws!

Take tissues with you, I sobbed all the way home.

BovaryX · 12/01/2020 20:33

She needs stimulation, toys and play. She's a kitten! Does she have a scratching post? Can she go outside? Kittens require a lot of play, get some toys and try to play with her.

Heyjude20 · 13/01/2020 08:27

She has millions of toys, like probably more than the toddler 😂 we play for 2 hours a day with her da bird. Her fave is the helicopter one.

She has a scratching post. She doesn’t really use it though.

She isn’t going out until spring.

Maybe it's just Tortietude? Having said that, all-black girl cat is a terrible nipper and swiper.

Best of luck with Demelza's spaying today.

Madcats · 13/01/2020 09:45

Have you tried hissing at her when she hurts you? Like mother cats do when they want their brood to calm down.

Hope the spaying goes well.

Heyjude20 · 13/01/2020 10:33

Thank you, I feel so emotional about it! Dropped her off at 9 and pick her up around 4 :(

Fluffycloudland77 · 13/01/2020 12:44

You can probably ring before that to check she’s out of surgery. Vets must be used to owners doing that.

Mine certainly were “hello, it’s Asbos mommy” .

Heyjude20 · 13/01/2020 12:50

😂😂 im going to ring in 20. I can’t wait for cuddles :(

OP posts:
TroysMammy · 13/01/2020 17:23

How is she? Be prepared for zoomies. They go mad after neutering, someone previously said it's the ketamine. Also as she would have had stitches and a cone of shame, a babygro or something similar may stay on to protect the stitches. There have been recent postings about this in The Litter Tray.

Heyjude20 · 13/01/2020 17:39

She’s home! No cone or vest. She seems tired but any noise and she’s Awake :(

Lordfrontpaw · 13/01/2020 17:57

No baby grow? I was looking forward to pics of a car in a baby grow (yes I am a saddo).
