Do those cat litter tray mats work?

We have two cats, one is VERY fussy about what he wees in. He likes the wood pellets and so do we. No smells etc. But, they leave little bits of sawdust trailing from their paws. So was going to buy one of those cat litter mats, that traps the litter inside but was wondering if they actually work? Anyone use them or have any better ideas?
Thank you.

I have one and they do work. Rarely find bits of litter all over the floor x

We have the double layer style that I think you are referencing under one box and it works pretty well.

The other box is on a piece of industrial carpeting. That works amazingly. The space is larger so there is more space for the cats paws to get cleaned before hitting the actual house space.

Ours definitely reduced it a bit, but not as much as I hoped! Probably depends on the cat litter and the cat too.
I just trained my eldest to vaccum after dinner each day!

Eldest DS. Not cat (pictures cat riding a robotic vacuum).

Damn I was about to overcome my aversion to cats if it was possible to get ones that can vacuum!

@Gammeldragz almost started to google "how to train your cats to hoover"

Now that would be talented!! 😂😂😂

I have one and it's not worked as brilliantly as I thought. As said it does depend on the litter and cat.

My male cat hates the litter mat. So the little shit jumps from the box to the carpet, over the mat, and then shakes his little paws. Covers the carpet in litter.
I bought a robot vacuum. Works a treat.

I've got one and it works well.
