She never begs for titbits, but has just been all over me and licked the bowl afterwards. I'm
Gobsmacked! I thought cats aren't supposed to like sweet stuff!

Harry likes Haagen Dazs (preferably dulce du leche). I can imagine them on a date at an ice cream parlour!

One of DBro's old cats used to adore licking out rice pudding pots, and used to steal lemon drizzle cake! I thought they weren't supposed to like any form of citrus!

Ad there was the year we were at my DSis's house for Xmas dinner, and caught her male cat eating the (very rich home made) chocolate butter icing off the yule log Grin

HerRoyalFattyness · 01/01/2020 22:14

One of my cats is very good and only eats car food.

The other one steals all sorts from the kids.
Chocolate buttons and birthday cake being the main ones so far...

HerRoyalFattyness · 01/01/2020 22:14

Oh and pasta. Not the meat sauce, the actual pasta Confused

Toddlerteaplease · 01/01/2020 22:22

Cheddar loves plain pasta! All my childhood cats loved yoghurt. But these two aren't interested. So I was very suprised at the reaction to the ice cream.

Ollie likes strong cheese, yoghurt, ice cream, toffee sauce, butter, baked beans, jacket potato...

ClientListQueen · 02/01/2020 14:35

Oh and lemon cheesecake Confused

barberousbarbara · 02/01/2020 14:44

Mine loves ice cream. You have eat in a defensive mode as she will try to steal your spoon or tip your bowl over to get at it. Unfortunately we realised that she's always sick the day after having any milk products so now she doesn't even get a lick of the bowl, no matter how hard she tries to get to it.

Toddlerteaplease · 02/01/2020 15:01

It's the first time she's ever made a fuss about human food. If I'm eating she will usually just sit and watch, and I give her a lick of baked bean juice of my finger. But she never tries to steal, (unlike cheddar)
