I'm so bereft and lonely

Well Dcat has gone for three weeks to have her radioactive iodine, they don't normally need such a long stay but she's having the maximum dose as none of the pills have worked. She's 18.
This place is sooooo lonely without a cat in it, how do people survive without cats or a pet?
In 35 years the house has never been without at least one cat. I don't know how I will durvive the next few weeks.
I'll have to keep super busy and work late I think.

It’s horrible when they are away!
One of my friends just had her elderly cat treated with iodine with very good results, so fingers crossed that being without her for a few weeks means you will have her in good health for as long as possible. She looks like a darling girl.
