Anyone's cat became more friendly after being speyed?

Our wee kittens were neutered just over a week a go and our girl has turned in to a super duper affectionate little thing. She was friendly before but it was on her terms. Now she cant get enough of being a lapcat. She never came into heat so i dont think hormones have anything to do with how she was before. Is this just coincidence? I'm not complaining its just made me curious.

Yes, mine was an aggressive little shit before. Afterwards she turned into the most loving and sweet cat in the world, so much so that everyone who meets her says 'I didn't think cats could be this nice!'

Well our boy according to the vet is the most affectionate cat hes ever met. I'm sure he says that all the time, but i agree with him!! I hope he'll think the same about our girl the next time he sees her because she's just lovely!!
