Cat probs

Seems to be one of those weeks - one cats issue resolved and another one develops one 🙄.

Basically there is a very large cat keeps appearing in our street, no idea where he's from but he seems intent on noising up my petite 15 year old boy. Every few days we'll hear them going at it outside, fur flying everywhere. It's only about a month since the last time it cost me £140 in the vets as he developed an abscess from a bite and now it looks like he has another one! The excess on my insurance is £150 + 10% of the treatment cost (because of their age) so I can't even claim on that - it's just not possible to keep paying out like this though!

Any suggestions on how to stop the other one coming here (it's getting more and more brazen by the day, it used to run away when I went out but now it faces up to me as well). My neighbour normally lets her dogs out to bark at it when she sees it which makes it scarper but she's not always around ☹️

I’m sorry op, your poor boy. We have a horrible Bengal who has attacked our cat since she was a kitten and will now even come up to our window at our house. (our cat is very vocal and will alert us and we will go running out and chase it away. Maybe invest in a water pistol?

Nice of your neighbour to keep an eye out for your cat too.

If you cat proof the garden he can’t get in & your cats are safe in the garden.
